Brian had his second track meet this week. It was warm until the sun starting setting. He jumped 33.5 on the Triple jump. He didn't place. The first place jump was 39!
He did place 2nd in the 300 m hurdles. His team also placed 3rd in the 400 m relay and the 1600 m relay. 
The wind was pretty cold once it got dark. I have learned that the time passes more quickly if I sit near the boys and the coaches. The boys' antics can be quite entertaining! Ya'll Come Back!

33.5 sounds pretty impressive to me! I'm not much of a sports spectator unless I know the people who are playing, but I think a track meet would be fun to watch!

ReplyDeleteThe triple jump is measured from the first "hop". It is sort a hop, skip and jump. They measure from the first hop to the landing spot after the jump.
