A while back, I posted about getting this chair that belonged to my sweety's grandmother. My Granny also had a similar chair on her front porch. Last weekend, I started re-painting it.
While I worked on this chair, my sweety did some repair painting on our patio dining set.
First came the prep work, treating a few rust spots and sanding.
Next came the main color. I used Rustoleum Seafoam Green.
Then came masking off the main part of the chair. I discovered that I had used up my favorite blue painter's tape. I had to settle for plain masking tape.
Wow..just like that...you guys are really good at improvement. It's so nice to have a hubby that can and will help out! It looks really great, now you just need another one! Come say hi :D

I have that same chair sitting in my garden. The paint job turned out great!

ReplyDeleteI have always loved that style of chair. I have two seated glyder that is very similar to that. Needs a little tlc. I will get to it someday.
