Looking out my backdoor!

A few days ago, I looked out the backdoor to see that my Texas Sage was blooming. Beautiful!
My Vitex is also in full bloom. I adore the bluish purple color!

I think it is also called Texas Lilac.

Around the side of the house, my daylilies are blooming prolifically. I need to move some of them to an area that is more visible from the patio.
This is "Strawberry Candy".
This is "Pandora's Box". It is definitely one of my favorites.

The "Maid of Orleans" is beginning to bloom too!

My Cannas will bloom soon.
I am not sure of the name of these daylilies-possibly "Distant Galaxy".
Y'all come back,
Lorilee

  2. I have never even heard of Vitex, probably not fit for zone 5 but I am going to check it out!

Your flowers in your yard are beautiful. Some of them I've never seen before.

  4. I love your daylilies. I made 5 centerpieces today for a dinner tonight out of my daylilies from my garden. I love their colors and their smell! I really like your white one with the purple center!
