Since, I won't be getting much yardwork done, thanks to the company of the hoards of mosquitoes, I should have no problem getting some sewing projects completed. This is especially so, since the MOUNTAIN of ironing has been conquered. All of these fabrics have been chosen for aprons. Except the red stripe, it is for cloth napkins.
Hi Lorilee,
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be back in blogland! Doesn't it seem like we never have "normal weather" anymore? It's either a drought or flooding, very cold temps or extreme heat. Maybe I'm just getting older and notice it more!
Your dishes are beautiful and their sentimental value is priceless. How wonderful of your friend to have left them to you.
What beautiful fabrics. I love the sunflower pattern. It makes me think "fall"! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs, Loretta
one of my best sets of china was given to me by a dear friend who later passed away. your china is beautiful (as i'm sure your friendship must have been).
ReplyDeletesew on, sistah!
Beautiful dishes. Extra special because of the history. Try not to float away. Mimi
ReplyDeleteI could use some of that rain. It is hot here. Beautiful fabrics... lovely colors. And I do love the china. Be sure and not store it away. I'm sure she would want you to enjoy using it every day.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining again today in OK. Will it ever stop? But we shouldn't complain because God is giving us lovely green to look at! I love, love, love the china. What a wonderful gift. You were blessed. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing your aprons. I want to make a few myself. They make nice gifts.
