I'm making progress on the Japanese Flower Garden shawl, but it is slow! I don't get to crochet every day, so I think I am doing pretty well! Update: The pattern can be found here
I fed my yarn addiction with some yummy yarn. I plan to use this for some dishcloths.
It is definitely starting to look like spring in South Texas. I saw this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail on my Carolina Jasmine.
I'm thrilled with the sunshine. I'm torn between gardening and crafts. Gardening wins when the weather is this nice!
Soon my Cannas will fill this corner. I can't wait. I'm tired of the blahness of winter!
The chickens just want out to taste all the tender green shoots!
Love your blog and really love the colors of your shawl, I would really like to find the pattern you are using and help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great week.
The flowers for the shawl are beautiful, Lorilee! You are a woman of many talents. I'm with you... when the weather is warm, I can't hardly stand to be indoors even when I have so much work to do. Love the hen pic- she looks like she's thinking of a way to break out so she can sample the grass! *hehe*
Beautiful pictures. Love the one of the butterfly on the jasmine. I have a similar jasmne and it attracts a gorgeous black and royal blue butterfly. The little crochet rounds are pretty....can't wait to see the finished product. I know what you mean about being torn between gardening and crafting. I've been doing some gardening because before long it's gonna be SO DANG HOT! Happy Spring!
You sure do beautiful crocheting...it looks perfect! And I am sure it will be so pretty when you get it done! It isn't Spring yet here..but we are working on it! ;D
