All you need is a few ingredients and a little time!
Granny's Bourbon Balls
3 cups vanilla wafers, finely crushed. (11 oz. box)
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
Mix all ingredients, then blend in bourbon. Shape into a large ball. Then pinch off pieces and roll into little balls. Roll the balls in powdered sugar and store in an airtight container.
I think I'll have a few to celebrate getting all my Christmas decorations packed and ready for the attic!
C'all Yum Back! LOL

These look great. They were my mom and hubby's favorite treat. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get all her baking done during the holidays. I still have ingredients I need to make up but these look delicious.
ReplyDeleteThese are so good! I made them one year for Christmas. Another one we really love is what we call "cookie balls" with the peanut butter and chocolate. Oh yum! :-) Thanks so much for your sweet birthday wishes!
