Bourbon Balls for New Year's Eve

Bourbon balls are a holiday favorite among SOME of my family.  This year, I didn't get them made in time for Christmas, so I made them for New Year's Eve.
All you need is a few ingredients and a little time!
Granny's Bourbon Balls

3 cups vanilla wafers, finely crushed. (11 oz. box)
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup bourbon

Mix all ingredients, then blend in bourbon. Shape into a large ball. Then pinch off pieces and roll into little balls. Roll the balls in powdered sugar and store in an airtight container.

I think I'll have a few to celebrate getting all my Christmas decorations packed and ready for the attic!

C'all Yum Back! LOL

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get all her baking done during the holidays. I still have ingredients I need to make up but these look delicious.

  3. These are so good! I made them one year for Christmas. Another one we really love is what we call "cookie balls" with the peanut butter and chocolate. Oh yum! :-) Thanks so much for your sweet birthday wishes!
