Halloween Party!

Several years ago, I had a Halloween party for my son and his friends. I thought I would share some of the fun.
My son is transferring the pattern using the tool that comes with the pumpking carving kit. I sure wish I could convince him to get his hair cut like this again.

The pumpkin carving kits are great. I found patterns on the internet.

These ghost cookies are so easy and quick to make. Just dip Nutter Butter cookies in almond bark and add mini chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth. They are yummy too!

The potion punch recipe is from http://www.terrorterrace.homestead.com/

1 pkg lemon-lime Kool-Aid

1 cup sugar

8 cups water

1 can frozen orange juice concentrate

4 cups Ginger Ale

3 cups orange sherbet.

Add Ginger Ale just before serving and float sherbet on top.

I called these Mummy Fingers. I found the recipe at http://www.familyfun.com/ where they called them Monster toes.

Brian is made-up and ready for the party! His Dad did the make-up job! I wish I had taken more photos, but I was pretty busy. I love Halloween and hope to someday have a "grown-up" party. This year, my husband and I plan to go on a Cemetary tour hosted by our local Historical Preservation Society the weekend before Halloween.

Ya'll Come Back Now!
