I bought this iris at Friendly Natives in Fredericksburg last June. This is the first time it has bloomed for me. You can't beat Aggie Maroon!
"Busy" has included school, clogging, weeding, baby chick sitting, and a little visiting. The chicks are definitely outgrowing their box. I put them out in the run with Aretha and Ethel if I am home during the day or evening. I still put them back into my garden shed and their box at night. Frequently, when I open the door, several are perched on the edges of the box!
Ya'll Come Back!

Sounds like a good kind of busy to me. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Lorilee,
ReplyDeleteI have an African violet in my kitchen window but it isn't nearly as beautiful as yours. I love seeing pictures of the peeps. You certainly are a busy lady. Hope you have a restful weekend. Hugs, Loretta
Baby chicks are so fun to watch! the personality that they all have is adorable! I could follow them around all day.
ReplyDeleteIs Aggie Maroon the name of the iris? I have to find it for my brother, he's an Aggie alumni and is particularly fond of iris', so it would be perfect for him!
