New Old furniture!

My Mum (my Mom's best friend) gave me her grandmother's Graybar sewing machine. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. This is the view walking in our front door.
This is the view from inside the living room.

This is the sewing machine opened for use.

It even has all of its attachments and the instuction booklet. The sewing machine is patented 1920.
Ya'll Come Back!

  1. Wow! That is so nice. I love the old sewing machines and stands. My mom has an old singer and she just bought me a White sewing machine that is from the 50's. It's pink!!!

  4. Oh Lorilee what a beautiful cabinet! I would trade my new sewing machine for one made in the 20's anytime. They didn't do all the fancy stuff but they are a dream to sew with. Hugs, Loretta

  6. I doubt I will sew with it, although it would be interesting to see how it sews. Maybe, if I have some time to kill!
