The girls love "recess"! I know this because they meet me at the gate of their run and practically knock me off my feet to get out! Blossom and Holly have learned to get out of the run! They can frequently be found wandering and scratching in the yard! Bad girls!
Chickens are so fun, just not in the flower beds. Mine don't get out too often, but they also have a 1acre pasture to roam.
ReplyDeleteI still love the pictures.
Hi Lorilee,
ReplyDeleteThe expressions (if you can all it that) on their faces just cracks me up. Are they in a protected area when you let them out of their run?
Yes, I'd be a little unhappy too if they chose my flowerbeds for baths! Enjoy the holiday weekend! Hugs, Loretta
I've been bad. I have been reading your blog but not commenting. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed how big your "chicks" are. What does the older hens think of them now?
These girls are pretty - love their color! What kind of chickens are they? (I'm hoping to get my own next year and am "shopping"!) At least with the dark color you won't notice the dirt :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteMy girls love recess, too- you would think they've never been allowed out before the way they take off running!! LOL
