Pussycat, where have you been?

This Saturday was the day to take down my Christmas tree and decorations. My doggies just slept on the sofa and loveseat while I was busy. My kitty, on the other hand, was in the middle of it all! He had to try out the little Christmas tree box.
He seems quite comfortable.
Next he had to try out the tub that holds my faux greenery!

Still trying out those tubs!
After I packed the Nativity, he had to try out the shelf for size!
When I carried the tubs out to the garage, he decided to have a seat on the jeep. We didn't tell Dad about that one!
I think he hated to see the tubs go!
I've suggested we call him Samson, instead of the original Beasty. He only comes to "Here Kitty, Kitty" and that is if he feels like it.
Y'all Come Back!

  1. Hi there, long time no see, good to hear from you. This cat looks so much like my new one, except yours is fatter and mine was nearly starved to death but we are taking care of that! I just love cats for these reasons, they are such characters! ;D

  4. I feel sorry for your 4th grade students. I hope you are not unduly influencing them with your extreme political views. Remember Tea Bagger, separation of church and state!

  5. Actually, Amendment I states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for the redress of grievances." The word separation is not in the Amendment!

  6. Go ahead and hide behind an amendment. It only shows that you are not able to form an independent thought for yourself. Typical Texan. I just hope non of your students are other than white. I'd be heartbroken to observe what your behavior, however subtle the bigotry and prejudice, would be towards those little ones if they were from another culture. Does your administrator or principle know your politics? I am glad I don't teach with someone of your ilk. God help you.

  7. My principal and I frequently talk politics. I am relieved that you don't teach with me. If you find me so distasteful, kindly don't visit my blog. I'm sure you can find someone out there that shares your political views to visit.
    Blessings,

  8. How lucky you are to have your cat help you take down the Christmas decorations! I hope you have fun paper crafting, I know I do! My daughter wants to make macarones. I also did a little research and found that Martha Stewart had a good recipe. Yours look delicious. I love pizzelles, too. My grandmother made them for every holiday!

  9. Good thing kitty kept moving - otherwise he might have found himself stored away! :)

  10. so cute! my little cocker, actually he's not little...he's chubby, climbed up on the fireplace hearth yesterday to warm up. It's been pretty cold here in Arkansas this week and he had been outside for awhile and was chilled to the bone I guess! I may have to blog about it, I did take some pics! Cute blog...

  11. Your cat is a beauty! We don't have cats (allergies) but I've always found them interesting. Stay warm.
