Next came the beans that had been soaking overnight. After a couple of hours of simmering, I added an onion, a couple of cloves of garlic, a can of diced tomatoes, a bell pepper, a couple stalks of celery, salt, pepper, and a dash of lemon juice. After simmering a bit longer, we had 15 Bean Soup for supper.
