Mockingbirds are pretty plentiful in my yard. They are attracted to water, suet, and any tomatoes in my garden! This one is at the fountain just outside our living room window.

You made me think of the movie "Failure to Launch" where the room mate is trying to murder the Mockingbird and then when she almost does it she is giving him CPR. Anyway that is just how my weird mind works. What a sweetie bird and what a lovely photo you took.

We have lots of these birds in my garden. I think they are lovely birds & so beneficial.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have mockingbirds in Utah. At least they don't look like this if we do. Mimi
ReplyDeleteWe had a mockingbird last year in the yard...I haven't heard it in 2 months. Must not like our winter. :) I hope he comes back in the spring. It was fun to listen to him.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever had a mockingbird in my yard. I will have to see if we have any in Rhode Island. I love your bottle tree! For the first time in years our Christmas tree was picked up by the town. I may have to go into the woods and see if I can find an old one from Christmas pasts.
