I wish I had the real bittersweet that I have seen other ladies using to decorate their homes! If it grows around here, I have never seen it!

I love all of your decorations!! *squeal* Isn't fall decorating so much fun?!
ReplyDeleteMe again, Lorilee- I forgot to tell you we had a bunch of bittersweet growing along our fencerow... I went one day this week with my pruners to snip a few vines- and the birds had eaten most of the berries off!! Boo Hoo!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lorilee..I love those feathers with your arrangement...and the web looks very cool on the mirror...I love the tall ghost too! It's fun to decorate a bit isn't it?! My grand kids just love it, they love to pretend to be scared!
ReplyDeleteCome say hi :D
HI Lorilee,
ReplyDeleteIf I would have known you wanted bittersweet I could have sent you some. It's a little too late to cut any now as the birds have gotten to most of the berries. I bought 6 plants to put in my yard. Hopefully in a few years I'll have my own private source :) Love your ghosts! Hugs, Loretta
I love your fall decor, especially how you decorated the mirror. Mmmh, might have to start looking for some stuff to decorate mine..
ReplyDeleteWe drive out on country roads and find it growing on fences and posts. You have to get it in early September around here, before the berries pop open. Cattle and deer like to eat it too. And it doesn't keep well from year to year. Hope you have better luck finding it next year! My advice. Take a colored bandana and tie it to the fence or post where you find it so it is easier to find in the future.
ReplyDeleteLove all your fall and Halloween decorating..it's so pretty.
