I love bats, but those look so creepy in the vent. Maybe it's the legs. Too bad you can't harvest those droppings for fertilizer. Good luck with those little critters.
ReplyDeleteOkay, those are a little scary to me, but then I've only seen one or two in my life. Is there a way to get them to leave?

Oh dear! They look a little creepy but I know they are harmless. In fact they eat tons of mesquitos every day so they are a benefit! Have you looked into putting up a bat house? Maybe that will draw them away from your house. Good luck! Hugs, Loretta
ReplyDeleteThose are not the same bats as the pictures from your bat house. Notice the little tail. Brazilian free-tailed bats may share the bat house with your Myotis. Corky, NorCalBats.org
ReplyDeleteEWWWWWw....they DO look creepy in the vent. And now I've learned something....I would not have recognized the spots on the concrete as bat poop....I swear, I learn something new everyday! Thanks! Hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteYou really did go all out this Halloween !!! Your Mom would be so proud.
ReplyDeleteBats are thinking: who needs little house in backyard when we can have big house right up front.
Mum
Oh how WONDERFUL! You have bats! I love them...great mighty insect hunters! :)
