I thought I would share the plants that I purchased at the VCMGA plant sale last Saturday. The first plant is Datura inoxia, The second plant is Coleus (Solenostemon scutellaroides), and the third is Perilla Magella
This is Scented Geranium-nutmeg, and Creeping Jenny (Lisamachia).
I purchased these plants for my veggie garden-Sweet Basil, Emerald Giant Bell Pepper, Rosa Bianca Eggplant, Celebrity tomatoe and a Brandywine tomato.
Last of all is Vick's Plant (Plectranthus tomentosa). It smells like Vick's! I paid $26 for the plants.
Your new plants look so "Springy" and I am so ready. Our pastor gave us two cabbage starter plants at church yesterday to inspire us to grown our own vegies. Made me think that when life gives you cabbages...make Cole Slaw!!

I wish I could find more scented geraniums. Currently just have rose scented. I once had chocolate and all kinds of them. I can't wait to find lemon verbena. Mine always dies when it gets hot. Brenda
I teach 4 year olds during the school year. In my spare time(haha), I enjoy clogging, gardening, sewing, cake decorating, and old things! I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two sons, ages 27 and 17!
We have 2 dogs (Honey and Lexi), a rabbit (Chewey),three cat (Samson, Rascal and Bella) and 7 chickens. The hens are Blossom, Buffy, Scarlet, and Matilda. I had on roo, Gottlieb. Then I let Buffy sit on some eggs and I ended up with 2 more roosters. My coop is called Cackleberry Cottage.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your visit. I enjoy sharing all the wonderful "little things" that make life so special! Say hello and leave a comment!

Lorilee,
ReplyDeleteGreat plants. Creeping Jenny is one of my favorites. We've planted it all around the banks by our pool.
I love all the scents together too.
