This is one of several prints I found nearby. I think it is a raccoon. Does anyone else recognize the print? Since I only have Aretha and Ethel left, I will may get a few more chicks.

How sad. Sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteOh how sad. I know it's nature and I love raccoons but I feel like I've come to know Oprah and she was like a friend.
ReplyDeleteI hate watching nature shows when they show other animals eating other animales.
It's so sad and this post broke my heart!
Please make sure the door is always kept shut from now on.
Hugs
Joanne
How sad for you to have lost Oprah. I have wanted chickens for many years now but this has always been my greatest fear. I know someone that had ducks and one by one they fell prey to fox and other preditors. Sorry for your loss. Hugs, Loretta
ReplyDeleteI would love to have chickens, but something like that would make me too sad. It definitely looks like a racoon print to me. I hope Oprah is happy in the henhouse in the sky.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about Oprah.
ReplyDeleteIt is so sad that things have to be that way.
God bless.
Condolences :-(
ReplyDeletePoor Oprah. May Aretha and Ethel stay safe!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about the loss of Oprah. :(
ReplyDeleteOhhh...sorry to hear about Oprah.
ReplyDeleteI think Aretha and Ethel need to become Aunties to some chicks. :)
Sorry about Oprah. Wish I could have some chicks but no in town.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss of poor Oprah. I really like raccoons
ReplyDeleteas well, I raised one from a baby till he could be released...and for poor Oprah to be attacked by a raccoon hurts me. It's just awful.
Hope you do get your Easter Egg chickies..
