A pleasant winter day in South Texas!

A flashback to Christmas Break! I had time to wander around the yard on one of the pretty days! Ethel and Aretha want to scratch around in the yard so badly!
It seems that all God's creatures are enjoying the sunny day.

I love the bright colors of crab spiders! They don't look scarey like some spiders! At least as long as they are not ON me!

Part of my Shell vine is dead from cold, but some in protected areas is blooming!

Fernleaf Lavender is the only lavender that I have managed to grow successfully. I have the pot in a protected area on the South west side of the house while it is cool.

I have picked up an assortment of old plow pieces from my Grandma and Grandpa's place.
Ya'll Come Back,
Lorilee

  1. We are having another gray and snowy day here in Utah. It's about 22 degrees. I could use a little of your Texas sun. Mimi

  2. LOVE your new purple polka dot background. Your pansy and other flower pictures are great. I didn't know that yellow spider was called a crab spider and agree he's cute but I'd be screaming if he landed on me!
