So long '08, Howdy '09

Our family spent New Year's Eve at home. The guys played a few games of Jenga. The teen is ALWAYS texting!
Hmmm what to do?

Dustin wondering if Dad can pull it off!

AAAAHHHHH wrong move!

Time for some pie--2 slices!

Now for some Uno.
The teenager being uncooperative! Typical.

AHA! Caught him. The shirt says "Its all fun and games until the cops show up". Frighteningly appropriate.

Back to some T.V.. Lexi must be getting tired. We made it to midnight, but not much longer!
This is an example of what can happen when the adults go to bed before the teenager. I found this on my kitchen counter New Year's morning! (In case you can't see it well enough, the note says "Its a mouse".)The youngsters are still asleep. My sweety and I are going to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade and drink our coffee!
I have really enjoyed blogging and getting to know my blogger friends in 2008! Thank you for visiting!
Ya'll Come Back for 2009,
Lorilee

  3. Personally - I didn't make it to midnight! I saw the ball drop in Times Square, but in our time zone, it was only 11:00. Good enough for me.
I posted the 'how I did it' for you (pillows) on the blog today. Email if you have any questions. (I'm no expert by any means, I just figure it out as I go - probably totally the wrong way, but if it works, I"m okay with it)
Hope you have a wonderful 2009.

  5. I never make it till midnight. I no longer even try. To sleep before ten for me and the dog babies. Oh, I remember having teens in the house. But it's been a long time. And they were girl teens! And I shall be a regular visitor in 2009!
