Hysterical Hens to Happy Hens!

I tilled my garden on Sunday to get it ready for planting. The noise of the tiller made my hens hysterical! I had to catch each one and put them in the coop!
When I finished tilling, I let them out while I pulled out the grass. They were in hen heaven scratching alongside me!
"That's my bug, I saw it first!"
Enjoy, girls. After the garden is planted, it will be off-limits for quite awhile!

  1. Your little chickens are so darn cute. I'd love to have some but I think the neighbors would get annoyed. Mimi

  2. Love the black hens. When my son was in kindergarten we had a rooster and two hens that used to come to our property looking for food. No one in our neighborhood knew who they belonged to. I think they were abandoned. The rooster used to crow right under my bedroom window every morning and the hens were so cute. One was all black like yours and the other was black with white speckles. Finally one of the neighbors built a coop and took them in. I missed seeing them each day but was glad they found a home. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Loretta

  3. Hahaha - now that they've seen the results of the tilling, maybe they won't be so upset next time they hear it!

  4. They should give you plenty of egg rewards for doing that tilling for them.
