Alas! Wile E. Coyote is not here! We found this roadrunner at a local store called "The Homestead". They carry metal decor and rustic furniture. When we first moved into our house, eleven years ago, we frequently had roadrunners visit our yard. They usually came to get water. We also saw them catch a few lizards. I really miss them! Hmm, what shall we call him? Beep? Chappy for Chaparral? I'm open to suggestions! Ya'll Come Back! Lorilee
Oh I love it, Lorilee! For a minute there, I thought it was real! I had to laugh about Wile E.- my Saturday mornings weren't complete without those Bugs Bunny cartoons when I was little. How about naming him- "Dash"!
What a cute roadrunner; I love garden art, especially if it's an original hand made item. I've never seen a real roadrunner, I didn't know there were many still around.
I teach 4 year olds during the school year. In my spare time(haha), I enjoy clogging, gardening, sewing, cake decorating, and old things! I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two sons, ages 27 and 17!
We have 2 dogs (Honey and Lexi), a rabbit (Chewey),three cat (Samson, Rascal and Bella) and 7 chickens. The hens are Blossom, Buffy, Scarlet, and Matilda. I had on roo, Gottlieb. Then I let Buffy sit on some eggs and I ended up with 2 more roosters. My coop is called Cackleberry Cottage.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your visit. I enjoy sharing all the wonderful "little things" that make life so special! Say hello and leave a comment!

I spent my childhood and most of my adult life wishing Wile E. caught the roadrunner. :)

For a second I thought it was a real roadrunner! But I think this might be a little prettier than the real thing.
