We awoke well before sunrise to have coffee and sausage rolls before heading out to the deer blinds. In the morning, I hunted with my nephew, Devin. It was a foggy morning. We saw a doe with a yearling first. Later two more deer appeared. At first, we thought it was 2 does, but after looking through binoculars, we could tell that one was a nubbin buck. I didn't take any photos of them because my camera makes too much noise.
We had agreed to all leave our stands at 9 a.m.. This is grandma Barb coming to meet up with us and then head up to the mule.
During our walk back to the mule, I noticed a small tree with several kinds of lichen or moss growing on it.
I couldn't resist taking photos of it!
There was even a snail calling the tree home!
I wish I could sometimes take a nap in the day time. But never been able to do so. I admire people who can. I'm a strictly dark outside sleeper! Looks like you're having fun.

That lichen is beautiful. Looks like you all had a fun day. Mimi
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of the lichen and moss and especially the snail. Thanks for taking the time to show us all that.
